35 food buyers from 14 different countries in Padua at our Academy to learn about the training and specialization opportunities for international students

A taste of our Professional Cooking Course and who we are

During Padua Food Week, an initiative sponsored by the University of Padua, Veneto Region, Province and Municipality of Padua, 35 food buyers from about 14 different countries (Bahrein, Canada, Cina, Cuba, Emirati Arabi, Finlandia, India, Indonesia, Marocco, Montenegro, Polonia, Qatar, Russia, Ucraina) will come and visit Accademia’s headquarters.

The idea, born from Promex, the special company of the Chamber of Commerce of Padua, aims to create business opportunities and internationalization through the promotion of the territory of Padua and Veneto starting from its most significant artistic and cultural expressions, but above all enhance the entrepreneurial excellence that work in the food sector both from the point of view of research, training, food production and machinery. For this reason the foreign guests are specialized both in food and equipment for food and will visit many companies of the agri-food sector of our territory.

After visiting Maap (fruit and vegetable market, Agripolis campus of the University of Padua) they will have the chance to see our structure accompanied by the President Federico Pendin and the staff, besides they will take part in a real cooking lesson held by Chef Andrea Rosti, one of the Teachers selected for the International project, which sees several professionals of the Academy.

The 1*Michelin recipe is one f the results of the Chef’s starry experience and it will be an opportunity to test what our Academy offers an teaches to the foreign students with the PROFESSIONAL COURSE IN ITALIAN CUISINE & FOOD CULTURE, the intensive course of 3 weeks with optional but included internship in prestigious restaurants, which already welcomes students and professionals from all over the world.
